Why are home break-ins so common around certain areas of the city?

My friend who's on Alverstone street had some guy slip in through the window the other night, drink all his liquor, and try to steal his stuff. When my friend came downstairs to see what was going on the guy, drunk out of his tree, asked him if he remembered him and if he could buy some weed... clearly some stupid excuse.


Now he has bars for all his windows, but that night apparently there was at least one more break in and someone shot himself some blocks away.


Why does this stuff have to happen?

It's sad that so many bad things are happening in this world.

Just looked at the news today, and I came across:

12 murder cases
1 minor car accident
10 major car accidents
34 stories of household burglary

oh, and the war going on in Gaza.

I just sat there, and felt so sad...

Feeling the sadness here....Are you all empaths?

If you are have you learned to properly shield?

Do you go to the grocery store or mall and it becomes unbearable and you just want to leave?

You could be an empath...

He occassionally tells me what he senses from people when we go shopping.

I am a bit, but for me it isn't always that I feel the emotions so much as I ... know them. It's like I have the knowledge of them and only feel then when I really wanna try them.

Yep... am an Empath here. I did a posting about it somewhere on this Forum. But to give you an idea, my Empath side seems to go wild when we are out shopping. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes bad.

I've not yet learned to fully deal with it, but am comfortable with it at last. Just had to overcome my fear of it.
